Red Light Fix SLF1800, the half-body red light panel
The SLF1800 is sized to treat one half of the body at a time. It is 42 cm wide, the same as the RLF3000, but only 91 cm tall, so one session covers the upper body, the back or a whole leg. If you stand for your sessions, do the front first and then turn round for the back. At 12 kg it hangs from a door using the supplied hook, or sits on one of the optional stands, so a bedroom or home office is all the space you need.
Independent laboratory result
In November 2026 the SLF1800 was tested by LightingLab Calibration Laboratory Ltd. in Veszprém, Hungary. It measured 83.3 mW/cm² at a distance of 15 cm and 73.8 mW/cm² at 30 cm. LightingLab is an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited calibration laboratory that works independently of us, and the readings were taken with a calibrated spectroradiometer.
| Distance |
Total irradiance, all 7 wavelengths on |
| 15 cm |
83.3 mW/cm² |
| 30 cm |
73.8 mW/cm² |
Twice the distance, 89% of the output. The 30° lenses hold the light in a forward-facing beam rather than letting it fan out to the sides, so the reading barely falls between 15 and 30 cm. Sitting further back puts more of your body in the light at once, and you still receive close to 90% of the close-range dose. For real-world use, we think that matters more than any single peak figure.
Test conditions: total irradiance from 200 to 1100 nm, all wavelengths at 100%, sensor at the centre of the panel, distance measured from the front face, reading taken immediately after switch-on with no warm-up time.
Seven wavelengths
The panel carries 360 dual-chip LEDs across seven wavelengths, and every channel has its own 0–100% dimmer.
-
460–480 nm, blue: visible light, absorbed at the skin surface.
-
630 nm, red: visible, absorbed in the epidermis and upper dermis.
-
660 nm, red: visible, reaches slightly deeper than 630 nm.
-
810 nm, near-infrared: invisible, passes beyond the dermis.
-
830 nm, near-infrared: invisible.
-
850 nm, near-infrared: invisible, the most extensively studied NIR wavelength.
-
1060 nm, near-infrared: invisible, the longest wavelength in our range.
Use the wavelengths on their own or together. Most people combine red with near-infrared; blue runs on a separate channel and can stay off for a normal session.
How you control it
The SLF series runs a new operating system with a new remote. Everything on the panel's touchscreen can also be done from the handheld remote: dimming each wavelength from 0 to 100%, pulsing from 0 to 9999 Hz across all wavelengths together, and a 1–30 minute timer that switches the panel off when the session ends.
One button press on the remote starts any of six built-in programmes (Post-workout, Anti-aging, Joint Pain, Skin, Wake-up, Warm-up) or either of two programmes you save yourself, so a routine session needs no menus at all.
The touchscreen speaks fourteen languages, which suits a panel built for customers across Europe. The LEDs do not flicker, which is useful if you film in the same room or are sensitive to modulated light.
